- D1: Very conveniently located, close to the University of Madeira – usually quick access by taxi, bus or on foot
- D2: Convenient – straightforward journey, but not quite as direct
- D3: Acceptable – works well by taxi, less ideal on foot or by bus
- D4: Less convenient – mainly worth considering if the price is attractive
Search all nearby hotels
If you wish to view hotels in close proximity to the main venue, you can use Google Maps.
Open Google Maps and search for the Campus, you can then ask to search places nearby and choose hotels. Google will show you locations on the map (which you can filter, e.g. by price). Click on individual bubbles to go directly to the accommodation’s official website and booking link (see the screenshot below).
Youth Hostels
Local Youth Hostels offer a good value for money and are located relatively close to the university campus. To enquire about this type of accommodation and availability, please use the dedicated website link.
