Funchal Sunset Boat Trip
Sail with us on this sunset journey, where, besides sighting of dolphins and/or whales, we stop for a swim in the ocean.
A small number of additional tickets has been released. Please follow these instructions to book:
Please log in to your ExOrdo conference account and navigate to ‘registrations’, then click on ‘new registration’. Your conference booking will open which you will be able to edit. Next, at the top of the page, select ‘social events’ tab and scroll down to boat trip ticket options.
If you are booking an additional ticket (strictly one additional ticket per delegate), please remember to enter your guest’s name.
When: Wednesday 26th August | 18:30 – 21:30. Check in is obligatory 30 minutes before each trip.
Where: Port of Funchal
Meeting point: The meeting point is at 6:00 PM at Avenida do Mar, Praça do Povo – Funchal Pier 8, next to boarding gate no. 3
The two catamarans we will go aboard, Sea Nature and Sea the Best II, usually sail around 3–4 nautical miles from Funchal in search of cetaceans, generally heading west along the coast towards Cabo Girão. There may also be an opportunity for a swimming stop, depending on sea conditions.
What’s included: 3 servings of local wine/beer/soft drinks. Additional drinks and light snacks are available at an extra cost. You can view the menu here.
What to bring: bathing suit, beach towel, sun cream, sunglasses, lightweight windbreaker jacket.
