Obituary – Dr Yoichi Sakakibara

EECERA are very sorry to hear about the recent passing of Dr Yoichi Sakakihara – we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this time.
Dr Sakakihara joined the EECERA Journal Editorial Board in 2019 and delivered a wonderful talk on the impact of COVID on young children in Japan for our online Convocation in 2020.
He was Director of Child Research Net, Japan and Professor Emeritus of Ochanomizu University in Tokyo, specialising in Paediatric and Developmental Neurology.
He was such a kind generous colleague and we shall miss his input and wisdom.
