Short bio

I work as an associate professor in the Department of Education at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. My present research interests are focused on children’s participation and children’s socio-emotional wellbeing in early childhood, power in children and young people’s close relationships, ECEC practices and pedagogies, and collaboration and cocaring between parents and professionals in ECEC. I am also interested in professional identity and wellbeing in ECEC.
